this might sound stupid and obvious but it just occured to me.
I needed a digital camera for keeping track of parts, where stuff goes, etc. I realized I have an old cell phone. and they all have cameras now. you don't have to have service to use the camera part and I don't use it as a phone so who cares about grease all over it and whatnot...
most people get a free new one when they renew their plan so even if you don't have one I bet your girlfriend or buddy or someone does. they're just filling landfills right now anyways.
