I know I'am no expert on riding, as I have only been riding since march, with only a total of about 9k miles of 2 wheel fun under my belt.
here is my personal review of the bikes I have, or owned in that short time.
first bike.
82 kawi Kz 550 ltd. great first bike, had 22k on it, 6 speed trans, 53 hp. lots of fun, put 3k on that bike.
81 suzki Gs 550 L, blah, had disk brakes, 33k miles. 6 speed trans, was a turd. boring.
78 kawi Z1 900. wow it had power!
84 yam virago 700. One of the more powerful bikes I had, lots of torque and would pull to 8k rpm. pegs set to far forward and would kill my rump and back after about 20 min of riding.
78 hon Cb 750k current scoot. Love this bike, wife and I have went for 2 hour rides so far withe no ill efects as of yet. ready to rack up some real miles on this bike. the windjammer with the radio makes the miles fly by.
