« on: May 26, 2008, 01:17:13 PM »
I am wondering what plug to use for my 77 550K, I have been told to use NGK D7EA (fellow member) , DR7EA (NGK Site) , D7ES (Manual)

What one do I use

Use the D7EA.
Plugs with an "R" in the name have resistors, don't use them.

Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

Issues with trust?

D7EA is the correct plug for a 500/550.  If you insist on using Resistor plugs, then replace all your spark plug caps with non-resistor types,  Or, learn to enjoy the "benefits" of lower spark voltage, particularly after you have some miles on the plugs and points.

The D7ES and D7EA are the same plug, just old vs. new numbering system.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
