Oil light comes on
« on: May 27, 2008, 11:07:58 AM »
Greetings: I have a 1973 CB750 four K that runs quite well but the oil light comes on intermittently. If I've run it on the highway at 60-70 miles per hour for 20 minutes or so the light stays on solid for quite a while. It's been doing this for three years but lately seems to be happening more. Any info would be appreciated. -Thanks

replace the sender. it is the cheeseburger shaped thing that threads into the top of your oil pump under the sprocket cover.
