how do I sync. the 4 slides on my carbs. fact #2 is fixed cannot move right? do I adjust 1,3,4. to the same height as #2.?   I notice #2 is a bit higher than the other 3 the bike is 74, cb750  4,800 miles just bought it , first time its run since 1986 ???  thanks, Graham

You attach vacuum gauges to the intake ports and adjust the slide height till the vacuum gauges read the same.

The newer PD carbs don't have adjustments on #2.  But, the earlier ones should.  ... I think..

My K4 is adjustable on all 4 carbs (assuming that I have the original carbs).

i did'nt want to force #2 to loosen , maybe a liittle heat on the thread lock will do it. yes the carbs are original. thanks for your input, has any one else had to apply heat to the thread lock?

All four carbs will adjust.  Put some penetrant/lubricant on the nuts, let it sit, and use six point box end wrenches to break it loose.  Good Luck.

 Thank you everyone,   #2 adjustment nut is loose, problem solved.now I can get on with synchronizing   the carbs.
