I am in, will mail it in the coming week.

Who is doing the actual machining or forging?
Are they 4340?

That's a Carrillo A beam rod. More than up to the task. I wouldn't be surprised if they are lighter than the OEM rod.

The guys who have already given payment to APE are in red(see above). 754 says money order in a few weeks, metalhead and Mrieck should be in touch shortly.

Anyone else that wants performance rods at a huge savings is welcome to jump in, but now's the time. One time offer so don't miss out.

i guess no one is for sure if a second batch will be made. this time it was a little impulsive, just sparking out of nowhere. i figure to give everyone else a chance to purchase a set, next time (if there is a next time) determine a date in the future for another batch to be made. then this will allow others enough time to work up some extra cash.

This has been in the works and stickied to the top of the forums since end of May. I agree that the "back on order" has come around quick and maybe caught a few off guard but those interested in the deal have been preparing since the inception. I, for one, do not have a lot of $$ and need some time between decision and purchase of high ticket items so am not knocking your ideas,rbmgf7, just think that there has been time for decision on this.

Hope this first batch works well and that more can be available in the future. Am guessing that Jay is testing this out to see if it's a viable option for adding to his list of wares. Right Jay? ;D ;D

Jay,
I'd like to send my crank into APE for lightening & balancing. Can you guys attach the rods to the crank there once they come in? Do you guys have rod bearings there or do I need to get a set from Honda? I'd like to send my crank in and get back the entire assembly with rods installed, if that's possible.
