Lets get together and ride south Mountain

Lets get these old bike together and ride south mountain!

  Nice and relaxing ride up the mountain shouldn't take more than an hour or two. If you have rode south mountain before th an you know it has lots of curves! Get to the top get some cool pics of the bikes together!  On the way back we can stop for lunch or we can take it with us. Couple weeks to decide so post up here your thoughts. 

Meet at 8a.m.  june 14th at the first gate.

F.Y.I.  the park is located of central AVE south of baseline.

I'm coming from north glendale (51st ave near the 101N) and I've never taken the bike on a freeway. I'll be riding 51st ave and then Grand down there.  I'll have to leave the house freaking early. LoL.

Looking forward to it, though!

Also, I just left a voicemail for a friend with a 69 CB[something].  He's going to school to me a MC mechanic, so he's a good guy to know.

That is a nice ride!  I took that trip on my CB350F back in '83.  Too bad I don't live there any more.

took the bike out tonite for a ride after tearin the carbs down again and replacing my throttle cable.  ran great!  looking forward to a ride up the mountain. anyone inviting non-cb friends?

thats funny i was in the same boat till last night.

after getting it running i was on my way to go to autozone to look for tire irons when this cat ran accross the street. no big deal right? well it wasn't till it turned around and decided to take up the same 6 inshes of asphlat that i was on!!!!   WHUMP WHUMP!!!

my first thought was, this cat is going to shower me with guts and blood..  crap.

well,  the cat got ran over twice. stopped to check it out and it must have limped off somewhere.

no blood on me! but it was funny to talk about this mornin!

Hell yeah.  Dave and I are meeting around 7:30 at 51st ave and Cactus to ride in together. We may be a few minutes late, looking at google maps, but we'll get there :)
