Topic: accel 8.8mm stainless wires w/dyna ignition; will this work?

I was just getting to installing my new dyna coils and ignition, the accel 8.8 stainless core wires I was planning on using have a warning not to use them or "any other metal core ignition wire set on 1980 or later Harley Davidson v-twins as radio frequency interference from metal core wires may cause damage to the electronic ignition module" is this applicable to a 73 750 k3? Do I need to worry about this at all? Thanks in advance.

No. You may have to grind the outer wire(s) a bit to fit into the coil outputs.

Do I need 8mm wires? Also, worried about frying the ignition, forgive my ignorance, but is this an issue?

i use the 7mm copper core dynatek wires, they flow all the juice that ignition will put out

I was using Accell wires & coils on my 73 with an old Martek elec ignition. I never had any issues with it.

 Solid wires would only be a problem with the Dyna 2000
