Harvey Korman - RIP
« on: May 30, 2008, 07:25:01 AM »
He might not have been able to keep a straight face around Tim Conway, but he was a great straight man.

So, who's gonna be number three?
Life is like a game of cards.  The hand you are dealt represents determinism.  The way you play it is free will.

We watched every single episode of the Carol Burnette show because of those folks. How could a person NOT enjoy watching those 2 perform. Wish they'd show reruns cause there sure isn't much to watch these days and it'd really take something to top Tim & Harvey anyway. ;) Like you said, "Rest In Peace Harvey!" :(

tv still exists? Seriously, tv is crap these days. I catch a little south park once in a while or take in the occasional movie but that is it.

Too much idol crap and dancing garbage. So much of it is so poorly written and poorly acted. These "stars" are too self centered. Makes me wish we could clone the old actors like george burns and bob hope.

Man I know I'm getting old when I think "Only 81".................. :'(
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

His talent was underrated, and he will be missed. I think he hit his stride when he teamed with Mel Brooks. Didja know that Hedy Lamarr threatened to sue Brooks for the play on her name (Hedley Lamarr)? This is the inside joke in Le Petomane's (Brook's) line when he tells Hedley to quit complaining about the pronunciation of his name:

"What the hell are you worried about? This is 1874, you'll be able to sue her!"
