Hey folks,

I'm halfway into my second season with my first bike, a 1982 cb650 Nighthawk.  When I finish my "customization" it will have more parts from an '80 custom.  The weather is finally starting to get nice hear and planning a few good trips.  So hopefully I can pick up a few tricks and tips here to make sure my scoot is problem free for the journey.  This is my scoot when i bought it, with the original paintjob.  I wasn't much on for restoring it to stock and the bike is going through a lot of changes right now.  It won;t win any show n' shines but it makes me proud to ride it.  The closest thing I can describe the look I'm going for is "post apocalyptic".

Yeah but I figured Mad Max was too cliche.  The tank is painted in truck bed liner and the new side covers are being fabricated from sheetmetal.  Should be fun if it all turns out like in my mind's eye.
