One of the chain maufacturers now have a nut-on type masterlink. The nuts deform the ends ~ similar to the chain tool mushrooming the ends, then you break the nuts off.
Too tell the truth i went to look for the master link and couldn't find one on the bike i bought it came with this master link-less chain i have never owned this type of chain before, is it a pain in the butt to break em? i was used to taking my chain off and soaking in kerosene too clean em up. Iam guessing busting down a chain everytime i want to clean it isn't really feasible anymore? i used to do this on a regular basis. (your thoughts)

(your thoughts)It would be a big pain to cut and re-rivet a chain just for basic maintenance, you could always go to a clip type masterlink if you want to keep doing this.
