Pretty good idea but with the idiot lights it would pretty hard to mount it where he did. You would have to mount up my the controls. I'm gonna give it a shot though.

Instead of the cardboard or rubber to make a 'snug' fit, cut a section out of the middle, say 1/8" per side. The edges may not touch when clamped, but it'll be snug and the bottom half will protect your bars still.

Hmm, on a bike with the key/ignition mounted lower, you wouldn't have to worry about the key there.

Looks like a great idea, think I'll have to try it. My only mod would be to put a wing nut under the camera to act as a jam nut. I don't need my camera falling off at highway speeds.

Just what I was thinking.  Perhaps also a flat washer.
