Yeah, well it was either that or Blue Velvet.
A hard choice to be sure:

Cross Dressing #$%* Eater VS Oxygen-deprived Dennis Hopper.....

Or what about another classic love story: FRANKENHOOKER.

Dazed and Confused - A run down on american high school culture

Unforgiven - Bobby already got it but it's my favorite  ;D

Predator - See what the Gov. of California can do if he's being hunted in the jungle

 Matt.

Oh, and try to watch "Strange Brew" to learn about Canada.

I would say that having come from a civilized Country would have have viewed almost all American movies since they are out biggest export. I was watching a film made in Scotland a few months ago which had English subtitles.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

The last two movies that hit me were:

The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada

No Country for Old Men

But then, I grew up in the desert rockies.

I'd also put National Lampoon's Vacation, just to say I'd watched it.

How were Fletch and Caddyshack not on this list!  Two of the most quoteable movies ever.
