How many of you think Big Brown will win the Triple Crown?

If the Derby and the Preakness are an indication it's a for gone conclusion.

i guess because i worked with rescue groups and saw the side of horse racing the general public doesnt, i have a real problem with racing. i saw ALOT of horses with their brains fried from drugs and pain, racers abandoned to die when they couldnt run anymore and other horrific forms of abuse. now, i know that not everyone involved in racingis like that but the enviroment that encourages trainers to run 2 year olds when they shouldnt even have a rider on their back till 4 years of age................

I hear ya Fuzz and agree completely. I'd prefer to see these horses not allowed to run races till 5 yo.
I find however that a good horse race over rides my will to boycott. I just want bet any money on them.

I've a friend in the q-hoss racing business and I had started to sell a few q-horses to him till
I heard how many he put down one season. They start the quarter horses running hard at
2 yo.

Read enough Dick Franics novels and you might actually start to think the Cheltenham Gold Cup is a bigger deal than The Kentucky Derby.
