4 into 2 pipes for a 79 CB750 (DOHC)
« on: June 05, 2008, 07:04:50 PM »
My brother in law has a 1979 CB750 (DOHC) and he is looking for a set of 4 into 2's.  I know that the years between the SOHC and the Nighthawk are like the un-loved child, but there has to be somewhere to resource decent after market parts.  Any leads?

Thanks!

Not sure if these will work, but it's a start. MIVV exhausts are highly rated..

the early dohc 750/900/100/1100 are not the unloved one cleveland the problem was width. yamahaaa came out with the seca modles and narrowed the motors by moving the alternators off the end of the crank then honda followed with the nighthawk 700/750 doing the same and adding hydrolic lifters and making the motors more maintanance free. if it were not for the harley tarrif we would have had nighthawk 750s like the rest of the world and if you really want to make that dohc 750 move just put some 900 cams in there
