i need to put an end to the horrible squawking sound of the turn signal buzzer on my cb750. it's hard to love everything about something but absolute despise just one thing. i've read up on some pretty neat workarounds for it. the obvious: disconnect, and the ingenious: have it switched on only when the brakes are engaged.
so here's an idea, wondering if anyone's tried this, how it's worked out. get 1 or 2 pancake style vibration motors, like this:
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8449. hook it into the turn signal wiring, and tuck it in under your grips or anywhere on your handlebars. these are the motors that they use in pagers and cell phones, pretty strong, so i'm thinking it should do just fine, ie - be felt over the vibration of the road, running motor.
