valve adjustment quote off sohc4 main page

quote taken from the sohc4 main page on cb650 bikes. Anyone know what the remark about valve adjustment means?

Remarks: CB650: Dual piston front brake caliper; CB650SC: The engine was blacked out and had 4 into 4 exhaust. Valve adjustment was now achieved via screen style system
