For you guys that show your creations at various cycle shows, can you post a pic of the plaque or whatever you erect in front of your bikes for the spectators to learn a little about your project.  Like the year, model, owner, etc.  I looking for some ideas...Thanks

I'm about to put 2 CB750's in my first show and looking for some ideas too. I have a few old ads, articles and pictures I was going to put on poster board on an easel near the bikes and a 3 ring binder with other stuff in it. I've printed a bit of Honda CB750 history and info on the bikes to post too. I can email you some of this if you like.
This will mainly be V-Twin custom show with a vintage corner so it should be interesting!

Last year at a show I had a '71 Penton steel tanker there. I took my old open-face helmet with its visor and original Joffa mountgaurd and my old lace-up, knee-high poleclimber boots and set them next to the Penton. I think almost as many people stopped and looked at and wanted to talk about the old gear as did the ones who looked at the bike itself!!!!


I'm kind of only semi-computer literate, so I don't know if this is possible. What I was thinking of doing for my RC172 replica is try and download a bunch of pics and videos of old Honda GP bikes from the '60's and burn them on a DVD. Then borrow my sons portable DVD player and let the thing run so folks could see and hear the original bikes.
