I hope this is the front door,
New to Forums and New to Here.
So if I fluff this up please don't shout at me to much.
AnyWay Hello EveryOne....  :D

Ive owned (I believe she is a 1978 Sreg CB750F2) since 1997. The poor old girl was stood since 1999 when the headgasket went. When we pull the head off we found the cam and followers were worn out. For my sins Ive a very limited budget and we have tried to find some secondhand parts to our dismay the parts we could find were in the same state (knackered). Those who admitted to having good parts would not sell or wanted megabucks. As the bike has been in storage for what seems an age the only pictures I have are in hard copy and I don't have a scanner so I will have to make the effort and take some. Then maybe someone on here can tell me what she is F1 or F2. Right after reading all this you must be bored so I will shut-up now thanks for reading.Tony

Hi Tony.

The most obvious difference between the F1 and the F2 is the exhaust. Search Google Images for CB750F1 and CB750F2 and you will see what I mean.

Most other differences are internal (mainly the cylinder head).

Oh, the engine is black on an F2!

Hi Steve,
 Thanks for the reply,
I'm finding it quiet hard to get going on here,

Unfortunately somebody has seen fit to fit a four into one motad. I'm planning on going down to the workshop tomorrow as I haven't been near the bike in at least a Year. At least the I can get some pictures and few details and update a few things. Thanks for the tips.Cheers Tony.

Many Thanks for the Welcome,

Its nice to know there is another bike hater we can piss off living in the flat lands. 8)

I hope your dear sister lives any where other than Norwich. Although we have a bike club called the Scratchers. They ride on the last sunday of the month. Their claim to fame is they piss everyone off with speeds in-excess of 140mph on country roads. Nutters

I take it you are UK based!!!
