Ok, this is so HIDEOUS, even Terry won't find a redeeming quality. Even the folks selling it states: "I would consider this bike unsafe to ride without competent frame mechanic sign-off, based on the appearance of some of the welds." and "
What was this guy thinking?
" An Automatic to boot.
As othere have alluded to previously, some guys should not watch the Discovey Channel while in close proximaty to a motorcycle, welder and ample supplies of dope. This week's installment makes my in-progress Project 'X' look down right purty....

I think the "ample supplies of dope" are hidden under the blue tarp that looks like it was trying to be a seat. Gee, that's the last place the Federales would check ...
Since when does saran wrap have the structural integrity to make frame repairs ... I gotta gets me some of that stuff!

I beat you to this one. I actually posted it on wednesday since the auction end was today.
It is hard to describe this kind of ugly though.

Anybody collecting these photos? Someday all of these bikes will be gone--parted out or over restored, and we'll miss 'em.

Wow that's amazing! And all for only $199.99.
I just bought a 78 automatic. I pick it up next week. I was thinking of some mild customizing ..... this one sure gives me ideas

Good point Sam, I'm enjoying these "hideous" posts, using "hideous" bikes for sale on Ebay, but after seeing a couple of our own SOHC-4 members proud attempts at "customising" recently, I don't know that we need to look that far afield? Cheers, Terry.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.
So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
