That's amazing! I saw on Myth Busters where they busted the "cooking an egg" myth, but this obviously works! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Yeah, the snopes piece doesn't actually debunk the popcorn 'myth'. I hate the damn intrusive technology anyway, harmful or not. Give it more time to see how many tumors are linked to cellphones. People find a reason to be on them more than ever. Pretentious bastards.

Personally, I'm pretty sure those things have little genies inside and they steal a piece of your soul every time you use them.

I knew it!  I had a sneaky feeling but no evidence.  Now I'm gonna stakeout and nab him! :)

.............. Give it more time to see how many tumors are linked to cellphones...........

aww, come on. everybody knows that cellphones are perfectly safe......... After all, it's not like you're holding a radio transmitter an inch from your brain for hours at a time.......
Oops. I think that's what they really are.

Amateur radio operators have been warned about the hazards of radio frequency radiation.......
http://www.arrl.org/tis/info/rfexpose.html
" With hand-held transceivers, keep the antenna away from your head and use the lowest power possible to maintain communications. Use a separate microphone and hold the rig as far away from you as possible. "

The cellphone industry's claims of harmlessness sound a lot like Big Tobacco - "Nicotine is not addictive.".

I don't use mine all that often, but it's not because I'm afraid of it cooking my brain.  I just don't like talking on the phone much.

Cell phones transmit about 0.5 watts of power, and only a very small amount of that is going to make it's way into your brain.  There are plenty of legit reasons to hate the ubiquitous cell phone and the people who seem to have them glued to their heads, so why focus on the one reason that makes no sense?
