My wife asked if this would get me any closer to getting it running.

Umm, no. Still waiting on some parts. But this has to be done babe.


Anyway, thanks to many helpful posts here, I didn't blow anything up.

The tank wasn't terrible, but I wanted to take care of the interior rust while it was all apart.

I didn't do a sealer coat or anything. Just the Acid followed by Acetone then oil/gas coating inside to keep it from flash rusting.

Of course it got you closer!  You're now one clean gas tank closer to a running motorcycle! :)
