Just signed into the forum.
Heard about this from a mate back home in NZ.

I have a '73 350F that I bought in 1975 as a 17 year old Kiwi and brought it over to Australia in pieces 8 years ago.
Took a while to get the time to put back together and the only part missing was the front guard.
Ridden over 500 miles since getting back on the road early 2007.

All my mates in NZ called it the "Sack of Spuds" because it was always unkept/dirty but in my old age I'm hoping to polish it up a lot more!

Hope to hear from you soon Scunny !!

Cheers  :o

Welcome. Post a pic of "The Sack" when you can.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Not sure if it's entirely appropriate to post a pic of "the SacK" (LOL) but you can see pics of the bike on

It sounds great also with just a straight 4-1 pipe and no muffler.
Anytime I see the cops I just pull in the clutch, throttle off and coast past them till they're outa range.
Gonna get caught one day I s'pose.

I'll have to see if I can record it and place an MP3 on the site.
We could all do something like that was well as the photos ?? maybe ??

Main issue I have with it is it's running far too rich and must have a float / needle stuck 'cos if I don't turn petrol off when stopped it floods out all over the place. They're such a prick of a thing to get carbs back on tho. Looking at K&N filters to at least cut down the extra hassle of fitting std aircleaner box.

This is an awesome website and can even access while at work !!

Cheers,
Bruce
