Sold my cb750F... :'(

I'm sad, but it was just one of those things i couldn't avoid. it figures too, 1 week before bike week and i sell my bike! i hope i can buy a new bike quick, currently looking at 00-01 sv650's (i'm kind of a naked bike guy). here are the final shots i have of the bike before bye bye.

sold it for $2300 on craigslist (;D). i <3 craigslist. i have some left over parts, so keep your eyes out for another thread in the near future!

Evil looking ride there, the silver lining is that now you have carte blanche to go look for something else to love.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I think I would have paid more than 2300 for her, if I had space for another in the stables

I'm confused, too.  You said you "couldn't avoid" selling it, but you posted an ad for it on Craigslist, and you're planning on immediately buying another bike, so it's not like you're in dire straits for the money.  If $2300 was an offer you couldn't refuse, then, IMHO, the bike was never really yours to begin with.

the bike wasn't for sale because I wasn't done modding it and overhauling the motor. i finished it the other day, saw an ad on craigslist for a guy wanting one (by luck) and said, lets see if he'll buy it for $2300, and he did. dropped it off this morning to him, took the money and bought an 01 SV650 for the same price. and originally i didn't post that craigslist ad and he didnt offer 2300 thats what i told him lol

but i'm thinking of picking up another and overhauling it, seems to be some good money in that trade IMO!

I saw the same guy looking for a bike and have been chatting with him by email for a while now. He is new to bikes. I think you got lucky  ;)

too bad you already got another sled i was gonna suggest a honda 919/aka the hornet, they are naked sexy bikes ;D
