New Magna Owner
« on: June 12, 2008, 07:41:45 AM »
Hi guys, i just became the proud owner of a 1994 Honda Magna, picked it up for 2500 with just under 10k miles. Seat has a little tear in it which i plan on getting a new seat anyway. But there is some rust on the shocks and alittle on the forks and random areas due to not being garaged. Besides that it rides like a dream. Some foreward controls will help the cramped leg feeling. My question is, what can i use to get rid of the rust that is on the rear shocks and the various random parts of the bike.

If it is on chrome, use 0000 steel wool and WD-40.

You can try coca cola and some crumpled up tinfoil, too. Always worked wonders for me, especially on chrome.
No.
