Ideas for cleaning insides of HM341 pipes

Mine has a pretty good looking exhaust (HM341), except for a few tiny holes that have rusted through just back of the headers on the inside part of pipes 1 & 4
I took them off to repair the holes (they were leaving carbon on the underneath pipes - pain to clean everytime I ride)  Anyway, since these don't
come apart any way that I see, would it be a bad idea to run something through them while I have them off ?    I was thinking of running a high pressure
car wash type hose throught them....Bad Idea ?

Maybe some sort of solvent ?  Anbody have some tricks of the trade for cleaning the interior of these things while I have them off ?
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Well the carbon will keep building up but if you tried to pressure wash it, you may blow more holes thru the metal or make the ones you have bigger.

I fixed the holes with some JB weld and it seems to be working.  (Experimented on one pipe about 2 weeks ago)
The pipes are pretty solid.  What exactly is in the pipes ?   Is there anything in there that isn't metal ?  ie fiberglass etc.

Here's and idea...

First toss some cheese or peanut butter in side the pipes.  Then tie some scotchbrite pads onto some little cute mice.  Put them in one end of the pipe and plug it.  Put some cheese or peanut butter near the open end and wait for mice to get it.

Clean the pad

Repeat, until the pad comes out clean.

Well, I didn't say it was a good one....

Anyone know if Easy off is chrome safe?

Easy Off takes off the chrome, just fine.
(Don't ask me how I know this....)

Usually, this kind of rust-thru indicates that it's time to contact Hondaparts-direct.com and spend a few hundred $$$...I just bought a new set (4) for mine last winter, haven't put them on yet. It was only a house payment!

I've had lots of compliments on the sound!
