Vintage CDI & exhaust on this bike I picked up 500/550

Started harvesting parts off of this interesting '71 500 frame w/550 engine. Two of the parts I don't know much about are the obscure CDI unit that the P.O. said was "Vance & Hines" and the 4-1 Exhaust he said was "J & R, fastest HP gain back in the day"... If some of you old schoolers recognize these parts and have anything to say, shoot. I'm going to try to swap the CDI (Martek 440?) onto my 550 and see how it goes.

as you have recognized that is a Martek 440 iggy. Do a search here as those have been discussed several times.

as far as the pipes are concerned your pics don't show enough of them. Two main features in atentifying any pipes are the end of the megaphone and the collector. also seeing the headpipes sometimes helps as well.
