Push/Pul Acc Cablesl
« on: June 10, 2008, 08:08:08 PM »
75 750 F w/ push pull. Hook up one ok, but the other is about an inch short. Any ideas? Got a stock late model carbs with stock handle bar control. I a reasonably sure the cable length is correct. Just wanna hear the pig run, to motivate me again. Also the paint is done, alum polished, new tires, adjust all the valves and set the points. All thats missing are the cables.
Any ideas?

OEM or motionpro?  I ordered motion pro and had to cut about an inch off the sheath of my pull cable that I just installed on the 500.

Did they send you the right one?  I've had mix-ups on the numbers for my 750.

Which is it, stock 75-76 750F carbs or "late" model carbs?

thats a good question. Cant seem to put up any pics. I guess without them it will be difficult. let me try from the office tow morrow. But i did loosen the tensioner on the grip. Measured the length with my other 75 750..same length. I will try to hook up the pull first side, and see if that works. Thanks fellas.

Alright that did the trick!! Since its everything but stock, I guess the these is no need to keep that stock. Dont know why I didnt think of loosing the pull cable. So I am up and riding. Thanks to everyone, and I gotta go. 78 deg. cloudless sky and with gas whaere its at there are fewer "cagers" on the road. Thank you very much.
