air screw adjustment
« on: June 14, 2008, 04:43:00 PM »
Well I've done the valves, points, cam chain, timing and plugs and I'm about to sync the carbs and was going to set the air screws at one turn (75 K5) and leave it at then after doing a search I read that the air screws can be adjusted using the vacuum gauges rather than the RPM. Has anyone done this and do you adjust for highest vacuum? Seems like a more precise way of doing it but I just want to make sure I didn't misread something. Thanks.
