We got a few rides in but nothing serious. Riding to the Oyster Run in Anacortes at the end of the month and then flying to Las Vegas for Bike Week. Should be fun and noisy.

So a couple of weeks ago I went through my electricians catalog of party favours.  I picked out some 9 inch recessed lights for the ceiling. They are adjustable from a 12 x2 pitch to a 6 x 12 pitch so the flood goes where you want to direct it. Installed 13 today, very well made. $120.00 a piece, but only doing this once

Finished the exterior lighting pots as well, and have the garage wiring live from the house finally

Tomorrow, tar paper the exterior walls.
Tues/Wend install windows
Thur/Fri install siding

I am so tired, I can barley type............

Ni disco ball..........  Those firkin lights should be able to bake a paint job!

I am separating the ceiling lights into 2 circuits so I can put a dimmer on the plasma screen side of building. .....Nothing worse than glare on the screen

Great progress. That concrete job looks excellent. Bet it's much easier to get bikes in and out without the gang planks, huh  Speaking of heat, my wife got me a kerosene radiant heater for my garage this past Christmas for about $100. Works pretty well with minimal fumes.

Garagecam is an excellent idea considering all the other amenities you have. How's the punkins coming along? Anymore pumpkin pie? Say hello to the Mrs.

martino1972 seeing how hard it is to get any riders from Vancouver over the the Big Island, I think it would be dam near impossible to organize anything on 1 Island past that

Dammit Derek, didn't we already drink enough beer?! Oh well, I finally sobered up.....

The name on the heater is Dyna-Glo (name is different than the picture but it's the same) and was purchased from HomoDepot for about $125. It is NOT one of the forced air units. Seems to hold enough kerosene to run all day. Has a built in ignitor too. My garage is the standard attached 2.5 car or 2 car 3-4 bike size.

i had the same one until elizabeth came in the garage all wasted and broke the dial and mechanism and it never worked again.     found it on craigslist for 20 bucks and it was well worth it.  its replacement is the one i mentioned earlier in the thread, which i like better because it directs heat instead of being omnidirectional.  the propane is much nicer to deal with over the kerosene too.  here it is...  http://www.masterheaters.com/lptt/tt30.html ... my version is made by dyna-glo, not masterheaters, and sold at home depot too.
