Get Tiles for floor here and installed, ............next weekend?

Move in 3- bikes and 1- boat out of rain ;D

Clean out my shop inside the house and sort out my head from my As$ regarding tools , parts, etc!!!!

..... dust .......

I'm still finding it hard to believe that such a substance would be allowed anywhere near such a magnificent structure.

Wood stove pipe and chimney done yesterday. Started up the last ceiling with the tong and groove pine and started painting the inside of foundation a Mac Tool Red color.

Received the floor tiles and I threw a few on the floor to have a look :)

elizabeth started calling that thing you have there, the "boob heater"... then all the biker buds started ringing in too!

anyway, i'm sure you can guess why it won the moniker.   :D

are you enjoying your boob heater?

Ceiling finished today ;D ;D ;D ;D

Need an extention for the ceiling fan for the blades to clear the 60 degree loft so I kept the scaffold until tomorrow and then it's GONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Starting the floor tiles tomorrow.

The door installations without all the crap hanging from ceiling ;D

Bikes in the background waiting to come in :)

Cool build...

Shop's are the basis for all this junk... big or small... well equipped or not... it's all about doing what you can with what you've got...

I hear what you are saying $$ blablabla

But designing and hand building your own dream garage is I would hazard to say "just as" satisfying as a bike build.   There seems to be a thread that runs through my life that involves design, restoration and building something at all times ??? and if you are going to do it....do it well.

I believe there are many others here who feel the same. ;D  That's why we are here.

Didn't mean for that to come out as a Money issue... I've looked at almost all of the pages of your build... like you I'm fascinated with any project well done...  Very fun read...

My shop took 3 yrs to build and I did most the work... had some friends throw in... but mostly it was my hands...  It's a 28 X 48 that's been in use for 10+ yrs... through 2 Hurricanes and many many builds... Cars mostly... Healeys and I've built 2 races cars.. and now a ton of scooters... ( 11 last count )...

The gig for me is that I've done work in everything from a Well equipped shop to a one car carport... and it's always come out about the same...   I just love the work...

Your shop and the build pictures show that same passion ... very enjoyable...

Keith
