There isn't much out there that is funnier when a woman has to pee in the wilderness.Back in the late 70's....my ex went with me on a big rig run where I had to go to Clear Lake,Ca. and drop some freight. We got off of the main highway and had to do some twisties on a 2 lane road and part way through...she had to go.I told her we still had aways to go and she said she really had to go so I told her I would pull off when I could.I found a place and she got out...picked a tree and took care of biz. I had to be a smart a$$ though and as soon as she squated...I hit the air horn and told her someone was coming(there wasn't!!!).....I thought it was hilarious but she sure didn't!!!!!

Well done Derek  8)

to late to put in a toilet, how about a nice fence , so the neighbors don't see you watering the lawn ;D ;D ;D

How much lumber have you got left over..........I'm thinking a matching outhouse  ;D

Just spoke with the wife about it.............we can't really have an outhouse for legal reasons, but she thinks if we build what looks like one, we could store all the shovels, picks, axed, and her gardening tools in it.

I'm keen, it would be a funny finnish to the job 8)

Drill a hole in the wall (not close to your cistern) and keep a funnel close by.

Amazing what you can accomplish in a day with an unmotivated 15 years old kid and 2 loads of bark mulch/  ;D

The front yard look like such a pile of Sh*t for 5 years, it felt good to clean it up a bit!

A bit fuzzy, but that is my spare 350 twin motor ;D

That is one MIGHTY FINE place you've got there and I'll bet it seemed like it would NEVER get to this point. If I had a place like that, my wife would ALWAYS be looking for me, cause I'd always be there. ;D

Man that's nice!
How 'bout if I move into the shed and you park your gear in my living room?

Better hurry up & finish!
Won't it be snowing in about a week or two?

Well done. Building is fun stuff. I use to work at a fly-in fishing outfit where every year we would build a new camp......mostly out of the trees around the camp site.

..sigh, I miss that.

I had an idear lookin at this pic..

If you were planning on putting any hard points in for lifting, now would probably be the time (I thought of that seeing the fella up in the rafters ;)).

She looks plenty strong to lift nearly anything.

Thanks Matt, he is actually standing up in the loft. I figured on sorting some sort of rolling track under that beam for lifting stuff.

That beam still needs to be finished in some sort of smooth wood, then install the stuff ;D

Loft  ::) Of course. I was rooting around my noggin for that word and gave up.

You need some of that barn tracking to go up there. Nearly every old barn in these parts has the track up under the peak, usually with a pulley or two hanging off of it for moving hay elevators.

I bet you can still get it somewhere. Looks like small 'I" beam.

Thanks very much for that Heff, I haven't had much time to look for this type of stuff yet.  I like it 8)

Lower side of BIG beam is 7Ft so I can probably get away with the shorter 10 ft one
 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=2211   a bit less $ as well. ;D

Anyone here have one? ...........works well/doesn't work well?
Other ideas?......options?

Is that a Johnson/evinrude 90 on the back of your boat?
That's waht I run on the back of mine, hard to beat those older solid big pistoned vee 4's.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

here's my exp. w/ harbor freight stuff... the store is generally thought of as a budget tool place.
they sell their own brands on many things... at least i've never seen them anywhere else.  Chicago Power Tools is their major brand and some others.

if you want crap buy all the small hand tools they have in their bargain bins.  The bigger tools they sell like tile saws and compressors and things that don't really break like chains are the type of things i really like to purchase from there (broken a few HF hand tools but no power tools as of yet).  if you're worried about breakage on power tools they sell affordable "throw it in a river" warranties that i get for all of those types of purchases... usually an extra 10-20 bucks unless you get the really high dollar stuff.

there probably won't be an optional warranty on the hoist but there should be one for the trolley.

i am a firm believer in the widely accepted harbor freight philosophy... you can buy 10 harbor freight tools for the price of one Mac, SnapOn or Craftsman and never have to go through all ten in the time it takes you to get through the one.   :D

if you've never been to harbor freight... it is a true sight to behold.   :)   almost as nice as walking into a tire shop and taking a big whiff of all the fancy new tires.   ;D
