This past week, I paid $333.03 to the City of Brecksville, Ohio, to calibrate my speedometer. My speedo said I was going 56 mph...and that's what the cop told me, too. I always thought my speedometer read about 10 mph faster that what I was actually going (based on the number of cars always riding my ass), but I guess not.
*sigh*
Live and learn.
$333.03 for 10 over (i'm assuming it was a 45 zone)? ouch.........
Actually, it was a country road, but the speed limit was 35. The cop recorded it as 53, so I wouldn't loose my lisence for going 20 over.
As much as I hate to admit it, that was nice of him...and I was speeding.
