petcock repair
« on: June 16, 2008, 05:40:20 PM »

My first job with this bike is to clean the tank and refurbish the petcock. While disassembling one of the hoses pulled the fuel tit out of the petcock housing.

Has anybody reaffixed one of these into the aluminum housing? What kind of epoxy/sealer did you use to keep it from leaking/pulling out again?

its a brass fitting, just tap it in with a hammer, it shouldn't need any epoxy or anything.
