Alloy Dunstall tank source?
« on: June 17, 2008, 02:21:00 PM »
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy or get an aluminium Dunstall tank made  for my '74 750?
just wondered if anyone actually makes them off the shelf as appose to getting a 'one off' made.

If It does end up that I need to get one made up , I've ruled out Evan wilcox (bit too pricey for me)

and have found these couple of people that make alloy tanks

http://www.thetankshop.com/

http://www.tabaker.co.uk/

Does anyone know any more that might be worth taking a look at?

Hey, ohiocaferacers.com is mighty good ar making aluminum tanks like the old Honda CR models. Check him out. Does it have to be a Dunstall type tank. Talk to Greg (ohiocaferacer) and see if he could come up with what you want. At least check out his site. Got some cool stuff and great craftsmanship. He's also a member here. ;)

Cheers Bill,

No, it doesent strictly have to be a Dunstall I'm pretty flexible but I would prefer something slightly more agressive looking than the CR I suppose - which I did consider fitting initially as one of the links above makes a couple of the CR models. I'll have a look at the link  ;)
