Topic: 78 F3 Petcock

I am looking to replace the petcock on my F3 I tried Honda but they say the no longer stock them. Could anyone tell me bung size and thread on the 78 F3 tank or a good aftermarket replacement petcock.

   I forget the size of the bung/thread but when I looked a couple years ago I couldn't find anything from Pingle or other online suppliers that would fit. Found one from a scooter(Puch?) that was the correct size but didn't order it.

   I entered the size and "petcock" to find it. Hopefully things have changed since then and once someone posts the actual size you might have better luck searching.

   Is yours leaking?

Thanks for the response. I only leaks when I turn it on and off from the face of the valve it seems to shut off properly when I remove the tank I have no leak I know it is just a matter of time before it will give out so I would like to replace or repair.
