A few years ago, I was like that. I used to google for whatever I was into, like "mountain bike" or "Honda 750" and start browsing the pages displayed. If any of them withstood the "five minutes test", I would bookmark it and try the next one. So I had a big folder of favorites, and many times, when I needed to check out something, the pages was not there anymore.
Now I don't do that anymore. My activities or interest are much more focused, and I have already selected the interesting pages and forums, so I keep updated on only six or seven sites. I'm more into forums than into regular webpages, as forums are to me a more "live" thing than reading a webpage that, although informative/amusing/enlightening, it is a one-direction affair.
