Kickstand ?
« on: June 18, 2008, 12:09:22 PM »

Just how far are these thing supposed to lean over on the kickstand ?  Is it possible that I have the wrong kick stand on this thing ?
I can put a 2x4 and another 3/4" piece of plywood under mine and it still leans....
Just seems TOOO far over, so much that I never use it.  I usually just use the engine stand...bit of a pain.

Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Yep mine does the same - both the K2 and the K4. Ive tried different kickstand for these years and they are all the same. I also use the wood to keep it up more. You can probably bend the foot of the stand so that it sits more upright.

cheers
Andy

your stand looks as though it is bent in the photo it should be pointing more towards the floor rather than straight out  :o, as Andy suggested you could try bending it back into shape, cheers Mick.
