Your welcome and thanks to you.  Goals for this year: Dyno tune; ECTA LSR; 3 drag race trips; VJMC National Show at Springmill State Park (2 hours from here). If I can accomplish all that, we'll coat it in WD-40 and move on to the next one. But, no hurry or pressure. And props to my Build Buddy Bruce, without whom this would never have happened.

Took the morning off and went to Saldana Racing Products with bike in tow. They made a new chain guard made per ECTA specs, while I waited.  New oil cooler mount as well.  Pics soon.

A catch up post:
Really cute pipe brushes for carb jets. Will fit into pilot jets. MAy never need them as I prefer just to buy new jets, but had to have them.

That's funny....I wouldn't have gotten the reference but I just watched The Wild One a couple weeks ago :)  You should make a special luggage rack display case for all your trophies 8)

CBJ: The class I run in at the ECTA Ohio Mile is M (modified frame, no streamlining)/G(pump gas): 1000cc/4stroke. The record is 129.xx mph. I'd like to think we can top that.   ;D  On paper, my set up at redline is 134 mph.

Are you still planning a June 18th/19th at the track?  I'd love to try and come by to see the bike run.  Also I've never actually witnessed drags live.

CBJ: The June 18th/ 19th event is held by the East Coast Timing Association (ECTA) and is a Land Speed Record event (not drags) they call the Ohio Mile. They have an old airfield in Wilmington OH about 3 hours from here. So you could make it out and back in a long day. You can search for a room, but they may be sold out by now. It's one by one, race against the clock. We have a mile to get up to speed, then they time for 100ft.  The exclusive club is those that get to 200mph. I understand there is some really nice and odd equipment, cars and bikes.

I'm not really looking to set any records, I just want to know how fast it may be. But as mentioned there seems to be an anomaly, lack of interest, in my class, so who knows?

Hopefully, the bike will survive the pressure, and we will start drag racing it again in July at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indy.

Sounds very cool....Rose and I are getting pretty good at Motorcycle camping....getting ready to head back to Vermont on Monday for a 10 day trip on the Guzzi :)  Will take a look around and see what we can find.  Looks like there's a state park 15mins or so from there.  Probably see if I can reserve a site for Saturday Night.

Yeah...we normally wouldn't go the same direction twice.  Last year on our Maine Trip we camped at a music festival called Pickin' in the Pasture in Bellows Falls, VT and met some cool people there. They talked us into coming back :)

DYNO Results: Peak HP = 78.63 @ 8200rpm; range above 75 from 7500rpm to 9000rpm.

Peak torque = 55.29 @ 6200rpm; range above 54 from 6000 to 7500.

Nice street bike numbers, I bet a 4th gear roll on would be fun.

Color commentary and graphs after work tonight or tomorrow. Finally, very happy with the Dyno shop.
