In anticipation of the remote possibility I can go to Ohio Mile this weekend, we worked on some bike prep. The battery needed a metal tiedown per thei tech rules. They let me skate first time. So, spanning this...
led to this...
Finishing with this...
Didn't quite get the bend right on the right side, but good enough for the first try.
The new Café racer seat was off on the stud placement for the latch. I'm pretty sure the tech guys wouldn't appreciate that my seat was held closed with a bungee cord. The hinge position was right on, but not for the latch.
The seat pan is real nice, though very thin. This makes for a very light seat, just FYI.
A couple of holes with some short sheet metal screws, did the trick.
So if the Doc clears me, we'll swap sprockets on Thursday thrash day, and head out Friday AM.
But its not likely. Chest pain doesn't fix itself, usually.
