Thanks for asking. Motorcycle wise, I've parked Phaedrus for the time being. It is complete in a manner of speaking. It is sans the frame kit, needs an oil change, general cleanup. But its parked inside, climate controlled (to an extent). I'm thinking that the Ducati store that had the DYNO we were using has closed shop, and that was about the only thing we could look forward to. Since I can't ride.
I've moved on to restoring a 68 CB77 Super Hawk.

Do an external cleanup on the engine and nail it back together. We've been working on it every Sunday, missed only a few for various reasons. I haven't posted any update for several weeks, I'll get back to that soon.
Health wise:
By we I mean CBJoe and build buddy Bruce have done nearly everything. I am wheelchair bound. When I get out in the shop, I can stand, alongside the lift and hold parts, turn around and get tools from the toolbox, etc. I can walk where I have something to hold on to. So, we've screwed handholds into nearly everything, the lift, the workbench, the woodwork, etc. I'm not allowed out there unless I'm accompanied by an adult capable of rendering assistance should I fall. CBJoe has an ulterior motive in that he is restoring a CB77 also. So we can share some resources, brain storm problems, etc. Bruce just likes to have something to look forward to after a hard week at his successful chiropractic clinic. Goin on 12 years! But literally, I'd be dead in the water without them.
The neurologist initially said I have peripheral neuropathy. My symptoms seem to confirm this, pins and needles and numbness in legs, feet, hands, and internal muscles. Eric Clapton has this.

But, additional symptoms led the neurologist to suspect Parkinson's. So I take dopamine. I don't have the tremors most associated with Parkinson's, but I have a lot of other things. Which is leading the docs to think I have MSA (multiple system atrophy) which is like a slow ALS. I just tell people I have Parkinson's cause its easier than explaining the other. They are all about the same except PN and PD are not considered terminal (you die
with Peripheral Neuropathy, or Parkinson's, not
because of them.) Often death is the result of a fall, which may not have occurred without the presence of PN or PD.

I am lucky that nothing I have is causing me any pain. Other than the pain of not being able to ride. I get pins and needles, but I wouldn't classify that as pain. I attend "Rock Steady Boxing" class 3 times a week via ZOOM. There are 14+ people in my class, and its a good support group. I have to have someone handy to brace me when I stand to punch and shadow box. And I'm still working full time at my little business which I can run from a chair. My wife, and Bruce and Joe are tremendous care givers. We'll just keep doing what we're doing and I'll try to get back to routine updates.
