Okay Matt, you got me that time! ::) I can not believe that I didn't think about the P51 Mustang. :-[ Ugh! ::)  Thanks for reminding me. ;)

Okay,  now maybe I should have asked how many didn't even realize that there was a Mustang bike.  :)

First I thought of the guitar, then car, then plane.  Never seen a mustang motorcycle, though I've heard of people using Mustang tanks.

Apart from the horse, the first thing that popped into my head was the seat company:

I was thinking Keith Korecki's Stang I saw on Sunday.

He has run 6.60 with it.. in a doorslammer with carbs. Had it on main street in a show last Sunday, started it up a few times..

I will do a search and see if there are pics online

Well, my intention was to see how many folks had heard of and/or even seen the Mustang motorcycle that I posted in the first place. Now, it seems that I have been reminded of some Mustangs that I have heard of and then again, some that I had never heard of.  :D  Seems like I was more enlightened than most of you all were. ::) Talk about "Turning the tables on me"! ;D

                                Take care, Bill ;)

 Matt.

Aw, I'm not complaining Matt. That was a really choice shot of the Mustang that you provided and I was reminded of others along with learning some more that had used the Mustang name as well.

Have forgotten a lot that I did know about them. Main thing I remember is that they filled the gap between a scooter and the motorcycle. I know a couple who are mostly H-D oriented Really cool folks and the guys wife has a great looking old Mustang herself. These folks must be around their late 60's or early 70's and they both still ride! ;)

Here's a link for you, me and any one else who might be interested.

Hope you all enjoyed this blast from the past! ;)
