Question about fuel hose on Carbs and Cylinder Head
« on: June 22, 2008, 07:54:55 PM »
I've installed my carbs and I'm about to put in the air filter box, but I'm wondering where these two fuel hoses are suppose to be ran?(#33 in photo)

Also, the breather hose from the cylinder head, does that get hooked up to the airbox? (#28 in photo)

The number 33 hoses are carb bowl vent hoses. They have a plastic clip that holds them as a pair. They route pretty much like in the diagram, kind of just laying on top of the air plenum chamber while in a rearward arc. The big hose from the valve cover connects to a plastic 90 degree elbow located at the bottom and side of the air cleaner box. Part of the pcv system.

Alright thanks. I am trying the electrolysis method for cleaning my fuel tank at the moment, it only cleaned half the tank (The side the steel rod was on) and I'll clean the other half tomorrow. All I'm using is salt and water, I couldn't find that Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda. So once this tank is rust free, I'll put it on my bike and it'll be ready to start.
