It's inevitable. If someone can make a dollar for little effort they will. I shake my head to think of the scumbags who actually buy the stolen property, be it fuel, or bikes or ATVs.

I'm just surprised it's taken this long.  It occurred to me over a year ago.

Not that I would do it, mind you - it just occurred to me...   :-[

I do have enough black paint to paint all my bikes black.

You know, just in case.

I was a kid then but I remember people stealing gas in the 70's during the first and second fuel 'shortage'.

Remember when Mel handcuffed the biker's ankle to the wrecked car and tossed him a hack saw?

Think of us in the UK. where diesel is about $12 a gallon.
I wish someone would blow up this bunch of criminals which we call a government.

In Spain they don't bother about the diesel -way more expensive than the US though-: they steal the cargo, specially when they know it is consumer electronics and the like. In many cases the put narcotic gas through the windows or breathing grids to make the driver fall asleep.

Burglars are eminently thrifty, and they will always look for the best return of their investment, that is, the best outcome for the less work.

I'm ready!

I have a friend who owns his own truck and he's just barely making his bills without having fuel stolen out of his tanks. This is going to get much worse before it gets better I'm afraid.
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.

Not doing what you can to make your bike ride-able during the best riding months of the year kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place.
