So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Another quick update guys- Bre is still getting better very slowly, the big thing is yesterday I got her to laugh! She has been pretty good about smiling lately, responding to jokes a stuff. I spent all day yesterday with her while my wife took a much needed break to get some things done. I've been so darned busy I haven't been much help. Anyway, I was really goofing with her, cuddling, tickling, giving her "smoochies" all over her face, and she just broke out in a laugh! ;D Man it was good to hear. I couldn't get her to do it again, but it's like that. each new thing comes, and it might be a while before she builds on it.

I've got to thank you all once again for your continued support. It means a lot to have you all so solidly behind us.

Hope you can forgive my selfishness Jay but hearing any progress makes my day... and this erases the last bunch of really lousy of days! You can't see it and Bre will never know me but she's reached a great distance to bring a huge smile to a stranger's face. Thanks and God bless you all.

That is so amazingly cool!

Sorry, Jay, I've been away for a bit, but Bre hasn't been far from my thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to share her progress with my church. I guess it is like watching crops grow. Bre's smiling and laughing seems a big breakthrough from where I stand. Keep up the strength!

Keeping you and yours lifted up, Jay!
Is there any new signs of progress in Bre?
How are you holding up?
-Could use a little twistgrip therapy myself, if the weather would join in!  :D

A quick update- Bre had surgery about 10 days ago to correct the tightness in her knees and feet, so she is recovering from that. She is very free and easy with her smiles now, It's like they have just come naturally again. The facility where she is at has a school , and she started going to classes a couple hours each day this week. We haven't sat in on it yet, as she seems to perform better at this sort of thing without us around, but her teacher says she does a real good job of answering questions reliably. It really wears her out but she seems to enjoy it, and I think it is great for her mind to have something to do. Well, that's about it for now. Gotta run.
