CB650 Tanks?!?

Hi I have an 81 cb650C. Would a tank from an 81cb900 C fit? I saw a great deal for one, and just not sure if it will fit on my bike. I checked bikebandit.com and the part numbers match, but they both have two sets of tank number on their site. I would be happy to measure mine to compare. Thanks.

yeah i tried one on my bike...they are way bigger and as soon as I tried to mock it up....I sold it...because it would have to a lot of work to get it to fit.

needs new paint, rust inside, and broken petcock. the one for 200 would have fixed all of this... if it fit.

FYI   A 80 even though it looks the same has a diff petcock size.
If you get the pc you can make it work with the bigger 81 fuel line.
