Hi all... just bought my first bike.  It's a 76' CB400f with approx. 18k.  She was running beautifully when I picked her up a couple weeks ago, but I made a really stupid mistake and left the fuel petcock on OPEN overnight... fuel leaked out all over the place, and now she won't start...  :-[  Anyhow, I look forward to tapping this resource and getting her back up and running. Bye for now.

It's funny but usually most new members get a reply from either a neighbouring member or a moderator pretty quickly, but yours most probably has been overlooked.
So welcome to the forum, I'm a new member myself and all I can say is it's an awesome site. Very helpful with lots of experience, tips and info.
I'm personally doing a CB750 k2 resto. Mainly to get away from her indoors. It's my first project and at the moment it seems to be 3 steps forward, 2 back but I'm loving every frustrating minute of it.

Have fun

Welcome from your neighbor to the north in Seattle. I also currently have a CB400/4. They're fun little bikes. Allot faster then most people give them credit for. I've been here since Dec ’07 and have loved every minute of time spent here. This is certainly one of my favorite sites. I just hope my employer doesn’t realize how much time I spend here during the day.

Don’t forget to sign the registry:

And we all love pictures here. So if you could, let’s get some photos of your bike up. We’d all love to see it I’m sure:

And last but not least, if you haven’t found it yet, check out the regional section. You may be able to find out what’s happing in your neck of the woods.

But most of all, have fun.
