'78 cb750f center stand assembly - how to install??
« on: June 27, 2008, 07:20:16 AM »
I bought a center stand for my 78 cb750f (with spring) but can't find in the manual where it shows how it attatches.  I see under the bike a couple of what look like clamps (no screws or nuts and no shaft).  The center stand has no shaft either.  I assume I'll need to find or make a shaft for it.  But no clue as to how the spring assembly attaches.

anyone have a diagram of the assembly?
Thanks.

By any chance do you know the dimensions (lenght & diam) of pin (Part N0. 3) in the drawing???  This part I do not have but can probably find something that will work.

You can just measure the hole in the centerstand, since you already have that, and then measure from the outside to the outside of the pinch clamps on the frame.
