Hey guys, yesterday i met a guy that had some CB parts (im still trying to find a head for my 750f). when i got there he didnt have what I needed but he did have a fairly complete candy blue green 1970 cb350... no headlight, no tach, no side covers. the engine has good compression and turns over nicely. So $40 later im bringing the little 350 home. its got alot of surface rust, but nothing tragic. has a decent size dent in the tank, the seat is immaculate..

Question: since im already building a 750 cafe... is there a good resource for resto parts? the 350 seems to complete, i think it'd be a waste to cafe this one. Is there a good online resource for info?

I'll post pics tomorrow. any help is appreciated

and my 750 project... just to whore some pics

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

For all I know, that might be my the very first bike I owned, a blue-green CB350 that I purchased for $700 in 1970.  I always liked this K2 model the best with the classic flat sides to the tank, but without the dorky knee gripper panels of the previous K1s.

Why not see if you can get it running?  If it runs well, stuff like fixing the tank and sourcing side covers and headlight buckets is not that difficult.  OTOH, if the engine needs major work, I'd part it out - just selling the seat on ebay will recoup you investment.

If i dont restore it, i'll cafe it. i really dont wanna try to make money off of it. parting it out seems like a crime. i am just not familiar with these and dont know if theres any hidden rust that may be terminal... or if its worth the effort to make it factory correct again... its growing on me though, im leaning towards resto.
