It's nice, and obviously very well done from an engineering perspective, but for the money, I'd prefer a more 'vintage' Norton than one with dual front disks, rear disks, digital odometer etc. etc.

I had a friend who bought one of these when they were originally built.  He spent a lot more than he was originally quoted and when the bike came it had a lot of serious problems to be sorted.  He was not a happy camper and sold it at a big loss.

I have seen of of his bikes and a raw tank at Del Mar in 96..

even in that sea of bikes they stood out.. very nice work.

sure you can buy 2 of ordinary, but that is not what the biddrers are after..

        A few years ago, I saw a beautiful red Norton Fastback (don't remember the year model ), at a local grocery store parking lot. Had to stick around, talk to the guy and hear that sucker run! It was just like stepping back in time!

Around 45 years ago we went to the hospital to visit someone.. in them days kids stayed out..

 by the door was a beautiful red Norton.. new or just clean.. or both..


 near as I can tell it as a p-11 I think.. cant be sure.. but that image is still in my mind & sometimes it pops up...

 just like the 2 guys on a Trumpet that rode by the house one day, then suddenly stopped.. then pointed to a footpeg rubber and asked us to see if we could find  one like it on the side of the road... I think the peg or kicker fell off..

 certain things just stick in your memory..

My 75 Commando 850 has a rear disk brake, but i'm just being a smart guy lol. I agree, I like the original look. Although the stock front brakes are scary bad...thinking of getting a "period" upgrade for the front brake. Local british shop gave me some ideas. Mine is all original other than having a Pod filter instead of the air box.. But I still have the original airbox if need be heh. I wouldn't mind having my original one and one like in the ebay auction though. I've always been a fan of the racing look nortons.
